Delhi:-
Delhi is the capital city of India. The
capital city holds historical significance. The major attractions that a
visitor can witness over here include Jama Masjid, Purana Quila, Red fort,
Qutub Minar and some other attractions.
Qutab Minar Complex:
The construction of the Qutab Minar was started by Qutab-ud-din Aibak, the
first Muslim ruler of Delhi in 1200 AD.
Red Fort: The
foundation of the Red Fort, so named after its red stone, was laid in 1618 when
the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, shifted to Delhi after ruling from Agra for 11
years. Rich silk from China and velvet from Turkey were used to drape the main
halls of the palace when it was inaugurated in 1647.
Purana Quila: The fort
is said to be constructed on the historic site of Indraprastha (900BC) by
Humayun and Sher Shah.
Jama Masjid: Built by
the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1650, more than 5,000 men worked for six years
to complete this largest mosque in India.
India Gate: Designed
by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931 the gate is 160 ft. high an has a
138 ft arch. The Gate also houses the ‘Eternal Flame’, that burns in memory of
Indian soldiers who laid down their lives in World War I.
Jantar Mantar: The first of five observatories
built by Sawai Jia Singh II of Jaipur (1699-1743), the structure has huge
masonry instruments.
Agra:-
The
city of Agra is said to have been founded by Raja Badal Singh in 1475. The
Hindu epic 'Mahabharat' makes a reference to the 'Agraban' that supposedly made
up part of Brij Bhumi, the ‘Land of Lord Krishna’, and this is believed to have
been Agra, although it was covered by forests at that time. The construction of
his fort began in 1565, and the fort itself was completed under the supervision
of Qasim Khan Mir Barr-u-Bahr in around 8 years and at a cost of 35 lakh
rupees. Rose-red sandstone and marble buildings were added to the Fort by
Akbar’s sons Jehangir and Shah Jahan respectively. Palaces like Khas mahal, the
Diwan-i-Khaas and the Jehngir Palace are also housed here.
Taj Mahal:- Taj Mahal is the most attractive feature
of this tour package. Those who wish to explore the beauty of the Taj Mahal in
Agra can embark on Golden Triangle Tour.
This marble symphony or the great monument of eternal love entices travelers
from all parts of the world.

city also has a number of forts, temples, monuments, and gardens that are

colorful bangles, bright clothes and fabrics, precious and semi-precious stones
